This is not your average language learning game.

The Abettor’s Letters is a point-and-click RPG adventure game featuring beautiful watercolor visuals and a fresh, funny language curriculum.

The Abettor’s Letters features a unique dialogue mechanic which makes it possible to learn a language by having real conversations, even if youre just a beginner.

CONVERSATIONS
This level features 5 Dialogue Interactions, the battle systems of the game. It is here you will acquire and apply most of your French. Heres how:

-Read a letter containing vocabulary and clues, then explore the world and interact with characters.

-Listen and read along as a character speaks to you completely in French.

-Decipher the highlighted word or phrase by choosing the correct Multiple Choice Option. Tap the Magic Monocle to reveal the translation, if you need help.

-Choose the correct Multiple Choice Option and hit Submit to unlock the English Translation for the whole sentence. Tap the Magic Monocle to reveal the Literal Translation and a Translation Note, to understand the sentence even better.

-Choose from two Response Options to respond in French. Tap the Magic Monocle to reveal option translations, if you need help. Tap the option you want and hit Submit.

Each Response Option will take you down a different path--some sensible and fruitful, others comically unsuccessful.

WORLD
The Abettor’s Letters: French has four maps to explore, each containing several characters and interactive objects; one of them even has a pastry shop you can enter.

MENU
In-game menu features tools like a Dictionary to assist you as you learn French.

CUTSCENES
Watercolor cutscenes fill in the gaps between levels and flesh out the international espionage adventure story.
